Group Calendars missing after migrating from Workspace Email to Microsoft 365
When we move you from Workspace Email to Microsoft 365, your Personal Calendar will be moved into Microsoft 365 for you, but you’ll need to move your Group Calendars into Microsoft 365. First, export and import your Group Calendars into Microsoft 365, then share them with users.
Note: Your Group Calendar can be restored for 60 days after it’s been removed from your account.
Export and import your calendar
Export your Group Calendar(s) from Online Calendar, then import them into Outlook on the Web in Microsoft 365.
Note: Exporting your Group Calendar(s) will provide events from the past 12 months and all future events. Event attachments aren't a supported feature when exporting and importing Calendars.
Export your Group Calendar(s) in Online Calendar
- Access your Calendar by going to onlinegroupcalendar.com or from your Workspace Webmail account by selecting the Calendar button.
- Select Calendar > Settings > Import/Export.
- Under Actions, select the
export icon for the calendar you want to export. Your browser will open or prompt you to save the .ics file. You'll need to know where the file is to import it into Outlook on the Web.


Import your calendar in Outlook on the Web
- Sign in to Outlook on the web. Use your Microsoft 365 email address and password (your GoDaddy username and password won't work here).
- In the left icon panel, select Calendar.
- Select Add Calendar.
- Select Create blank calendar.
- Enter a Calendar name, then select Save. You can share it with others later.
- Select Upload from file.
- Select Browse and choose the .ics file you saved from Online Calendar.
- In the Select a calendar dropdown list, select the calendar you created. >
- Select Import.





Share your calendar on Outlook on the web
Share your calendar by sending an invitation your users can accept, or let others subscribe to your calendar by giving them a link.
- Sign in to Outlook on the web. Use your Microsoft 365 email address and password (your GoDaddy username and password won't work here).
- In the left icon panel, select Calendar.
- Select the
three dot icon next the calendar you’d like to share, then select Sharing and permissions.
- Enter the email addresses within your organization you’d like to share the calendar with.
- In the dropdown list, select one of the following view access levels:
- Can view when I’m busy
- Can view titles and locations
- Can view all details
- Select Share to send an email invite for this calendar. Users you’ve shared the calendar with will need to accept the invite to view the calendar.



- Sign in to Outlook on the web. Use your Microsoft 365 email address and password (your GoDaddy username and password won't work here).
- In the left icon panel, select Calendar.
- In the upper-right corner, select the settings icon.
- Select View all Outlook settings.
- In Calendar, select Shared calendars.
- Under Publish Calendar, use the dropdown list to select a calendar.
- In the Select permissions dropdown list, choose one of the following:
- Can view when I’m busy
- Can view titles and locations
- Can view all details
- Select Publish.
- To share the calendar with users, copy the Calendar link for HTML or ICS:
- HTML: Copy this link if you want recipients to view the calendar in a browser.
- ICS: Copy this link if you want recipients to subscribe to the calendar.
