Plesk - #1044 - Access denied for user 'myuser' to database 'mydatabase'

Hello,

I have two Godaddy accounts and am migrating my databases from one account to another.

When I try to import the .sql file of a database through phpMyAdmin, I get error #1044.

I researched the problem and saw some people solved it by giving CREATE privileges to their database user through their cPanel, but this happens for the Linux hosting accounts.

How can I give CREATE, ALTER, etc. privileges to my user when using the Plesk cPanel? When I open the user, all I can do is change the password.

Any help is very appreciated. Thanks!

---- EDIT: I fixed the problem by creating the database manually and just importing the tables through the SQL file. I hope that helps!

Re: Plesk - #1044 - Access denied for user 'myuser'@'%' to database 'mydatabase'

Hi @kina

Thanks for posting in our forums. Glad to hear you were able to fix the issue by "creating the database manually and just importing the tables through the SQL file." Hopefully this can also help others in the future.
