I really need to drive more business and need to get more traffic to my website and all of the pages. Any suggestions on how to do this?

There are hundreds of things that could go on this list, but here are a few places to start:
1) Make sure your social media profiles are set up and complete, including terms that people would search for if they were looking for a business like yours. Post once a day and include links to your website when you post, trying to give people valuable information rather than making it a pure sales message.
2) Ask your friends and family to share links to your website with their social media circles. You can even write some suggested language for them: "My friend Rachel just started this new business doing XYZ. Take a look at her website to see more about what she's doing." Or something similar.
3) Once your have your Facebook business page set up, experiment with Facebook ads. They are pretty easy to set up and the targeting can be very precise. There are lots of tutorials and videos from Facebook to help you spend your money wisely. You can create ads that link people directly to your website.
4) Make sure your website is on all your marketing materials and in your email signature file.

Getting traffic is a broad topic and can come in many forms. Traffic can refer to organic or paid traffic.
As a general rule, organic traffic can take longer than paid traffic.

Organic traffic can include sources like Google, Wow, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, AOL, DuckDuckGo and others. These are primarily search engine traffic that your site gets after it is indexed.
This is also called SEO. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and can include a lot of topics on its own. I would research more about SEO. Some great resources to start are SEOLand, Marketo, Hubspot, Yoast SEO and Moz.
Then there is social media traffic. Again, this is dependent on your content and how people view/share it. This can be a powerful driver of traffic depending if your content gets shared on the rights sites.
For a practical application, start by blogging, creating videos and podcasting. Utilize your knowledge and skillset to attract an audience on a particular topic.

Word-of-mouth is one of the most effective way to have traffic.
It may not be necessarily as fast as other methods. But it carries the most weight.
When I say to someone - check 'Rachel's site', the immediate opportunity for questions and answers arises.
Live face-to-face conversations of your site.
It depends what you're really trying to do. If you want to only get more exposure to your site from online you approach it one way, and if you'll do anything, there's obviously more you can do.
So getting out there with meetups, networking events and such, providing value to others and finding ways to refer business to others and get business referrals in return.
It's very important to get in a giving mentality because most people are looking out for themselves and you stand out by willing to offer more value than you're asking in return.
When it comes to practical strategies, there were some great suggestions already mentioned. I run an SEO agency, so it is an organic free strategy, but we charge to do the service.
So you can go out and do it yourself at a lot lower cost, however SEO is very complex and will take time to learn how to do it. It takes time to benefit from SEO regardless so if you know very little it will obviously take even longer.
Then there's paid strategies, Facebook's native ads is definitely the most powerful as it's the best way to really fine tune your target customer.
There's also free options by finding discussions online around your industry and providing your expertise, exactly like I'm doing here on this forum.
Biggest takeaway, even though you might need business you can't let that affect the way you operate. Seek to give value and you'll get value in return.
On the basis of your novice tag, I suggest you start by designing your banner around an easily-accessible image you like. There are sites with the facilities to freely entertaing your request to create a banner. They guide you as well!
Once happy with the outcome, upload (more on upload following).
You can place links in text, image, etc. The procedure is basically the same for them all.

This is the million dollar question
One of my posts has 15197 hits, why? Is it that the photography is better on that post then the others? Is it because people are talking? Is it that my rambling is better on that day then another day?
I do not do the hard core advertising, (please come to my website type stuff), you see some folks doing. I probably should but I just do not feel comfortable doing that. I do, do seo...... in fact that list that is placed above my post here? I am going to go to every darn one of those to see what each one has to offer my website....... thank you so much for the list!
If you feel you are done advertising, advertise some more. I have not heard anyone bring up fivver ...... I have no affiliation with them other then being a customer at this point. Such creative people over there!! When thinking advertising I like to think outside the box....

There is a wash of sites providing free ad space - Locanto, USFreeads, the majority I can't even remember. Do a search for free ads. Of the three I most used, USFreeads provided more flexibility for monitoring and control (a bit of redundancy there). There is a third site which is almost as widely known as Craiglist, but the name eludes me. Just recalled - Backpage.
