Mail - Flow - emails say delivered but not the case

Hi everyone

I've only been on GoDaddy since a few days back but tried to send emails but people aren't receiving. A few people are getting the which makes it really weird and frustrating as it could be business not coming through. I've even checked on the mail flow admin area - says delivered but double checked with someone in the next office and NOTHING!!! Anyone else have issues like this?

What is your domain so we can check out the DNS settings?

So I see you are using Office 365 - If you have a cPanel server you need to make sure the Mail Routing settings are set to remote as your mail is not on the server - does this describe the issue - you are having??

When you go to cPanel - look for Mail Routing - it maybe set to local or automatic - set it to remote

Re: Mail-Flow-emails say delivered but not the case

I finally got into Cpanel - was set to remote already so might be something else

I've had a few people email me - came through

I emailed others - no email

I've replied to those who emailed me - went through

Also I went into the email section and nothing that's on my 365 is actually showing as an account?

If I set up emails via Cpanel - can I import to phone to use when on the go?

@SJConnections

The cPanel and Office 365 are 2 separate things - I though your issue was related to people filling out forms on your site and them not getting delivered to your email.

If the issue is mail going straight to Office 365 you need to check your spam / junk settings within Office 365

Re: Mail-Flow-emails say delivered but not the case

Hi @SJConnections,

It appears there is some confusion over the email being used in your account. The DNS on your domain indicates that you are using an Office 365 Email plan. If that is the case, the "Remote" designation would be correct in the cPanel plan for form use. However, you'll want to be sure the rest of your DNS is correct for proper send/receive functions (defaults below). Update as you check the zone fields.

If you are using cPanel email, your DNS must be changed in order to send and receive. And "Local" would be the correct setting in the cPanel Routing screen. You can NOT have email set up in both O365 and cPanel hosting as only one MX record (mail record) will work.
