Emails passwords in the cpanel should they be as per user or are they just related to the cpanel?

After losing many emails I set them up again, I don't know why they were lost in the first place? But now that they are re-established in the cpanel should the passwords be the same as my google account passwords? or stay as godaddy paasswords? I don't wish to go back in there as  my business has lost 6 days with no emails

Hi @Paulus1. Welcome to GoDaddy Community! I'm not sure what your previous email setup was, but passwords for email accounts in Gmail shouldn't have any effect on any passwords you set up within cPanel. In general, it's good security practice to not share passwords between different logins. Hope this helps.
