MX REcords question

Hello,

I purchased a domain name and i set an A record to point to shopify. The domain name works perfect but here i am.

I do have a shared web hosting plan with serverhub and I would like to use their email hosting.

I added the domain as an addon domain but guess what, the email i created dont work.

I know it shouldnt be working because of the MX records??

Do I have to change the MX records to point to their mail server?

Regards

Akis

Re: MX REcords question

Yes, that is correct. Otherwise the nameserver won't know where to route any email sent to email at the domain. The MX Record controls email routing.

Re: MX REcords question

Why do I get MX error when i try to set an email? The MX is set to mailstore1.europe.secureserver.net and I changed the password to one including capital letters, numbers and special characters.
