Can't change DNS nameservers

Hey GoDaddy

I have a "simple" problem. Here's what happen:

Transfered the domain "wired1.com" to godaddy.com and selected to KEEP my current name server: gw-ns1.media2a.com and gw-ns2.media2a.com.

So far, so good.

Now here's the problem. Since we have new DNS servers, I want to change them. But when you try to change the DNS serveres it gives me the error: "Unavailable".

In my old domain registrar I did the following when I added new DNS servers:

domain2.png

By using their "Register nameservers" I can add the Nameserver and it's IP.

But nowhere in GoDaddy's panel can I find this option.

The only option I have is to use the current domain and do it like ns1.wired1.com,

domain3.png

but that's not what i want. I want to use the foreign domain. Hope someone can help me? Otherwise I might have to switch back to my old registrar

Re: Can't change DNS nameservers

Hi @clausdk. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! It looks like you've been able to resolve this issue. The domain wired1.com is currently pointing to the nameservers you show in your screenshot. If so, please consider following up here with the steps you took to resolve the issue. Others may benefit from what you've experienced. Thanks!
