Migration From Another Host

i had scheduled a MIGRATION of HOST from NORTH AMERICA to ASIA. They mentioned the delay time will be 12 HOURS. 

that is from MONDAY  9pm till TUESDAY 9am. Unfortunately the process is STILL GOING ON. what is happening ?? and what am i supposed to do ?? should i be patient and wait ? or how much more time needed??

its my hosting server is what i want to shift..from earlier mentioned destinations.

is it a normal thing of taking more than the usual (mentioned by godaddy) timings (12 hours ). should i be worried ? did i loose my content ? how much long should i wait ?
