Transfer Domain (with website) Ownership to another GoDaddy Account

Hi,

We're planning on transferring ownership of one of our domains. This domain already has a live website hosted with GoDaddy still. My concern though is will there be a down time once we transfer the ownership to a different GoDaddy account?

Thanks.

Hi @AdminBF

When you move a domain from one GoDaddy account to another, there will be an option in the process to click a box that reads "Keep the current nameservers for this domain". If you choose that, there will be no down time as the domains DNS will undergo no change. (The exception to this would be if either account is using premium DNS.)

The instructions below will assist you.
